Keys & Co was founded by James and Catherine Whitmore in 2018 with a simple idea: match people to the right piano without pressure sales. James is a trained piano technician with 20 years of experience. Catherine ensures every visitor enjoys a relaxed, unhurried showroom experience.
We are authorised dealers for Yamaha and Kawai, and we stock curated pre-owned and restored English pianos including Kemble, Knight, and Steinbach models. Every instrument is professionally prepared before delivery, with free delivery within 30 miles of Harrogate.

James Whitmore co-founded Keys & Co in Harrogate in 2018. A trained piano technician with two decades of experience, he prepares every instrument in the showroom and oversees tuning, voicing, and regulation for customers across North Yorkshire.
Catherine Whitmore
Co-Founder & Customer Relations
Catherine Whitmore handles customer relations and day-to-day operations at Keys & Co, ensuring every visitor to the Harrogate showroom enjoys a relaxed, unhurried experience.
